New York, New YorkJoyce Ferris participated in a roundtable discussion at “Grass Roots Energy Finance: Scaling Public and Private Investments in Demand Side Energy Assets” hosted by the law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP on May 31, 2012 in New York City.
Joyce joined the Deputy State Treasurer of Pennsylvania and other finance and sustainability professionals for the discussion “Financing Strategies: Pooling Financing for Clean Energy Projects.” The panel focused on financing opportunities at the municipal, county, and state levels for investments in clean energy projects. Highlights of the panel included the core conditions for effective pooled procurement, standardized contracts, credit enhancement, and pooled financing for demand side energy projects. The discussion addressed frameworks and authorities relative to procurement, bill payment, energy performance contracting, bonding, and others. The panel also discussed the role and structure of clean energy financing organizations.
Joyce joined fellow sustainability professionals for a panel discussion at the Best of Greenbuild Conference hosted by the Delaware Valley Green Building Council on May 3, 2012 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
